  • What is varicocele?

    Varicocele is a varicose veins of seed rope and eggs. The seed rope is a tubular formation, which includes the seed-winning duct, according to which spermatozoa is emitted during ejaculation, as well as artery and veins. Name «varicocele» Comes from a combination of two words: Latin words Varix, which means «Venous knot» and the Greek word kele - bloating, tumor, and it means «Tumor from venous nodes».

    In the overwhelming majority (in 80-90%) varicocele appears on the left. This may be due to the fact that the venous blood from the right and left testicle reaches differently. In view of the characteristics of the anatomical structure, Vienna from the left egg is like more than the shift in a large vessel than from the right. Accordingly, the pressure left is higher, which is a prerequisite for the development of varicose veins. Very rare varicocele arises on the right and even less often happens to bilateral.

    The cause of the development of varicocele

    • insufficiency of the valve apparatus of the internal testicular vein;
    • congenital weakness of the wall of the testicular vein, which is not able to confront blood pressure in it;
    • Large length and narrow lumen of vein seed rope.

    In itself, the varicose veins of the seed rope is not a big problem. This disease is not dangerous for life, and with him you can easily live without much concern. The main problem is a typical complication of this disease - men's infertility. It develops as a result of the features of spermatogenesis (spermatozooid formation).

    Varicocele On the veins of scrotum blood flows from eggs and surrounding tissues towards the heart. In this case, blood flows from the bottom up, against the strength of gravity. Normally, the reverse current of blood is hampered by a special venous wall valve system. When expanding veins, these valves cease to work, as a result of which the blood begins to make the so-called «Peal Movements». As a result, the blood supply to the eggs in general.

    Eggs are broken, which in itself is a damaging factor. The venous network around the egg is becoming more and more. Such blood «pillow» from venous vessels around the egg leads to the fact that it ceases to cool. But to generate spermatozoa, a reduced temperature is necessary - between 32.5 and 34.5s. In varicocele, the temperature is significantly higher than these limits, in such conditions the formation of spermatozoa is broken or stopped at all.

    Normally, the testicular tissue is protected by a special anatomical barrier, with varicocele this barrier may be impaired, and the so-called aispetic autoimmune inflammation develops. T.E. immunity nonsense cells «Find out» Egg fabrics as belonging to the body and begin to produce antibodies against their own cells, thereby causing a severe immune lesion of the egg.

    Diagnosis of varicocele

    The disease in children and adolescents is usually detected in preventive inspection (most often at the first inspection in the military registration and enlistment office).

    4 degrees of varicocele:

    At first degree Diseases usually no manifestations are not marked. Often varicocele in this stage is found in preventive inspections (unless of course a surgeon or urologist examines the patient properly). In position standing can be tested by extended veins along the seed rope not reaching the lower edge of the egg. When switching to the horizontal position of the veins falls out and become invisible.

    With a second degree varicocele that can develop after unrecognized or not treated with the first degree, the veins are expanding to a greater extent. They descend in the form of a slope below the lower edge of the egg. In case of inspection, asymmetry is detected. The testicle on the side of the lesion is descended, as a result of which the corresponding half of the scrotum disperses. In the horizontal position of the veins, somewhat falling down, and when there is a straightening, we swell significantly.

    Complaints on pain, which can be different intensity - from pulling pains when walking to sharp pains of neuralgia. Pains more often appear during exercise, gender excitement. A teenager may complain about the feeling of burning in the field of scrotum, as well as reinforced sweating. It is not rarely a decrease in sexual function.

    At
    Third degree
    Pains are constant and worried even outside the exercise - alone, at night. The scrotum is increased due to numerous «Ground» veins, which descend significantly lower than the lower edge of the egg. The testicle is reduced in size, soft. At 3 degrees often develops a violation of spermatozoa formation, the atrophy of eggs (nutrition) and immune inflammation may also develop.
