Also, the company is considering the ability to embed a LED to quickly notify the user in situations where the glucose content is approaching critical values.
The sensor built into the lenses and the chip do not interfere with the vision, since they do not affect the pupil and iris. The developers have done the jewelry work to which years left, and became the first to be able to create the most miniature glucometer. At the same time, representatives of the company Google emphasize that they still have a big front of work in this direction, and while technology is not ready for everyday use. The company also reported that they do not plan to deal with this project alone. Corporation intends to find for development «Smart» lenses expert partners. But today, scientists are confident that the invented type of lenses will lead to the emergence of new and more efficient than the existing methods of combating diabetes.
